Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark diversity and coexistence. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Diversity Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
